But, of course, time is something none of us will ever have enough of and my writing schedule of late has been tested by an upcoming move, acclimating to a 9 to 5, a weekly makeup artistry gig for Bobbi Brown, college reunions, weddings, random gigs like working the VIP tent at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic (that's me to the right of Hugh Jackman, either yawning or coughing, I'm not sure which, but I'll bet I was tired...), producing events, socializing, and anything else that pops up at any given moment.

But despite my constant state of exhaustion at doing a million things at once, my doggie, Avery, is getting plenty of rest as she summers in Boston. In the spirit of co-parenting with her father, she is enjoying a big grassy backyard where she frolics and enjoys the sun all day.

I didn't think it would be possible to miss a dog so much, but I take comfort in that she will soon be back with me in my small New York apartment, which I am sure she will love after her time away in what is probably like camp for her.
She doesn't realize it, of course, but I do all that I do so that I can one day provide a big grassy yard of my own for her where we can both frolic in the sun and pretend we are at camp.
Maybe I will get some rest then.

You always have your hands in so many things, I don't know how you do it all! You're a hustler, and I know you'll achieve your dream of a grassy yard (and a little shut eye), keep it up!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love the photos! The one of Hugh Jackman is fantastic.
